APPARENTLY, a drunken “future police” who claimed he was seven months under training in NCRPO R–8 admitted his blunder early Sunday morning when he pledged to restore the poster of Sarah Geronimo which he pounded during a clash with security guard post at Cebu Lhuillier Barangay North Daang-Hari Branch in Taguig City.
NCRPO Regional Public Safety Battalion team led by PO1 Kristofferson J. Alimpulo identified the police apprentice as Elizer Domingo Maggen, 22, and a resident of Barangay North Daang-Hari while his alleged adversary was also identified as Rahad Pacti Udin, Security Guard of the aforementioned pawnshop and a resident of Block 75 Lot 50 Phase 5 Valdez Street, Barangay Upper Bicutan, Taguig City.
According to RPSB report, the eye catching fistfight happened around 1:00Am when Maggen who was believed intoxicated with liquor went to Lhuillier’s pawnshop and started to bully Udin who was then securing his post.
When the latter ignored the alleged harassing command of the former, Maggen abruptly punched Udin on the neck which triggered him to retaliate.
Udin narrated to RPSB personnel how he thinly dodged his body when Maggen attempted to hammer him with an iron rod bearing the poster of commercial model Sarah Geronimo.
“Mabilis akong nakailag kaya doon sa sahig tumama ‘yung bakal na may poster ni Sarah,” he voiced.
Several witness said the fistfight lasted almost an hour but they finally agreed to dissolve their disputes when Maggen avowed to restore the ruined poster of Sarah Geronimo.
