TAGUIG City – ASIDE from high end two-wheeled vehicles which has been the constant target of car thieves, now it seems that these unidentified lawless elements are switching for a bigger modus operandi as recently revealed by a company driver whose car was allegedly stolen while parked along the street of Barangay North Signal Village, early Saturday morning.
Believed carjacker victim Rodelito I. Tolentino, 42, company driver and residing at Ipil-Ipil Street Barangay North Signal Village, Taguig City, narrated to law enforcers of Investigation and Detective Management Section or IDMS that when he woke up from sleep around 5:00 a.m. he went outside to check their company car.
Tolentino said he was speechless and amazed when he found out that their white Mitsubishi L300-FB bearing plate number XEF 244 was missing while park in front of their barrack.
After combing almost the entire area of Barangay North Signal Village, Tolentino decided to report the crime incident to IDMS who later referred him to Intell and Anti-Carnapping Section.
