ISASAPUBLIKO ni US President Barack Obama ang bagong kaparusahan na haharapin o ipapataw sa Russia matapos targetin ang ilang indibidwal, kompanya at hi-tech defense items.
“Later today, there will be an announcement made. It builds on the sanctions that were already in place,” ayon kay Pres. Barack Obama sa idinaos na Joint Press Conference sa President’s hall, Malakanyang.
Papatawan ng bagong kaparusahan ang Russia matapos ideklara ni Obama na hindi kinilala ng Russia ang pledges na nakasaad sa ilalim ng agreement sa Geneva na labis na lumikha ng tensyon sa Ukraine.
“Washington wants Russia to rein in pro-Moscow militias. Obama has warned the Kremlin to work with international monitors from the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe, and decried “thugs” who have taken them hostage,” ayon sa ulat.
Sinabi pa rin ni Pres. Obama na ilalantad ng Washington ang listahan ng “individuals and companies” na bumuo ng presyur kay Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Tinukoy nito na ang measures ay tutuon sa “hi-tech defense exports to Russia.”
