A delivery truck was robbed of cash and valuables by four still unidentified armed men Saturday morning along a national highway in a remote village in Surigao del Sur, police reports said Sunday.
Reports reaching the PNP national operations center in Camp Crame said the robbery incident took place at around 10:30am along the national highway in Cagwait in Surigao del Sur.
The reports said victims Christian Germano and John Tudtud where on board a white Fuso delivery truck (GRF-859) when they were flagged down by four suspects armed with revolvers.
The suspects then took their wallets with P10, 400 in cash and three Nokia mobile phones before fleeing, while police launches pursuit operations for the suspects, reports said.
